Let the Games Begin: Introducing the Winterhawks Winter Games! ❄️🏆

The torch has been lit, the potluck dishes have been cleared, and the spirit of competition is officially in the air!

Last night, we kicked things off with a fantastic Global Potluck and Opening Ceremony watch party. It was the perfect way to channel the energy of the Winter Olympics into our own community. As the world’s best athletes compete on the global stage, we are thrilled to bring that same excitement home with the 2026 Winterhawks Winter Games.

Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned skater, everyone is invited to join the celebration!

⛸️ WEEKLY TEAM CHALLENGES!

Students will be grouped into their regional teams to tackle skill-based drills and creative prompts designed to build camaraderie and sharpen technique. These weekly showdowns allow skaters to earn consistent points for their teams leading up to the grand finale. It’s all about teamwork, hustle, and showing that Olympic spirit every time you hit the ice!

You don't have to be on the ice to feel the hype. We’ll be streaming the Olympic Games all season long in the lobbies of both facilities.

Also, be sure to keep an eye out for our miniature "Skate School Olympic-style Parades"—a chance for our youngest stars to show off their skating pride!

🏅 THE GRAND FINALE

We’re going big for the finish! To celebrate the closing of the Olympics, we’re heading to the Veteran’s Memorial Coliseum for a massive blowout event. Skaters can try their hand at various Olympic sports, compete in relay races, and enjoy a celebratory open skate with the whole skating community!
