Player Spotlight: Aleenah & Arnet Clemen

This month’s player spotlight features a brother-sister duo, Aleenah & Arnet Clemen, who started playing for the Jr. Winterhawks 8U and 10U teams, respectively.
Aleenah Clemen started playing hockey as an 8U for the Jr. Winterhawks. At that time the half-ice games really honed her skill as a bank passer and a board battler. She topped out as a co-ed Jr. Winterhawks with the 14U AA travel team. Last summer, she was selected by USA Hockey to attend the 2024 National Girls 15 Player Development Camp in Oxford, Ohio. She continues to play hockey in Southern California for the Lady Ducks 16U AAA team in the Pacific Girls Hockey League (PGHL).
Arnet Clemen started playing for the Jr Winterhawks as a 10U skater. His house team, Silverhawks, went on to win the Championship. From that season he went on to develop his hockey skills with the Jr. Winterhawks travel teams, culminating as a 15 year-old playing on the 18U AA travel team. That year was really fun for Arnet playing with the older boys. He is currently playing with the Seattle Jr Kraken 18U AAA team in the North American Prospect Hockey League T1ER (NAPHL). When the Winterhawks are in town, he is always loudly cheering, "GO HAWKS!"
